Description:
The Linguistics Department at Georgetown University invites applications for a
Visiting Assistant Professor position in syntax and semantics. The position
will be for the 2006-2007 academic year. In order for this position to receive
full benefits, the candidate will be expected to teach (or possibly co-teach)
five courses over the two semesters. The candidate should be able to teach
undergraduate and beginning graduate courses in both syntax and semantics and a
graduate seminar in either area or the interface between them. PhD must be in
hand by the time of employment.

publications, and contact information of three references. For full
consideration, materials should arrive by March 31, 2006.
