Happy New Year Subscribers,


LINGUIST List has resumed posting.  To those of you who submitted items for
posting during our holiday break:  thank you for your patience.  It may take a
few days for us to handle all of the messages we have received, but you can
expect to see your submissions very shortly in upcoming issues.   

We would especially like to thank those of you who came by to see us during our
office hours at LSA. We enjoyed meeting all of you and appreciate your feedback.
Additionally, we invite each of you to contact us at any time at 
linguistlinguistlist.org with suggestions or comments, since your input allows
us to serve the linguistics community in the most effective way.
