Hello all,

The E-MELD School of Best Practices (http://emeld.org/school) web-team is
writing a page about how to collect video data in conducting linguistic
fieldwork.  Does anyone have advice to share?  How did you cope with
situations such as: lack of indoor space for filming, lack of
electricity/lighting, community preferences for filming indoors/outdoors? 
What should you frame when setting up the video camera?  Is it more
important to focus on the mouth area to collect articulation data, or to be
able to view the whole body for gestures?  What considerations have I
overlooked?

We're looking for longitudinal corpus data of child language acquisition
that is not included in CHILDES. Does anybody know if such data exists and
how we may obtain it?
