Description:
The Center for Mind/Brain Sciences at the University of Trento is accepting
applications for a 3-year PhD Program in Cognitive and Brain Sciences.
The PhD program seeks to provide students with a high level of competence in
basic and applied research in cognitive neuroscience, and will encourage them to
pursue innovative research projects that require expertise in multiple areas.
The program has two main areas within which research can be conducted using
behavioural, neuroimaging and computational methods: 1) Cognitive Neuroscience -
Cognitive, Perceptual & Motor Processes, and 2) Language, Interaction &
Computation.
Courses officially commence November 1st, 2006.
All courses will be given in English and are taught by a multi-disciplinary
faculty. 12 fellowships are available in the amount of 12,350 which will be
awarded to candidates based upon application and experience.
