Meeting Description:
The purposes of this summer course/workshop are twofold: (a) to introduce the
attendants with current approaches to multimodal discourse and (b) to provide
them with analytical tools to explore multimodal texts. The invited speakers
include Gunther Kress, Eija Ventola, Charles Forceville, Crispin Thurlow, Lisa
el Refaie, and Raquel Segovia.
