Description:
The Department of Chinese Studies, National University of Singapore,
invites applications for a teaching position in: Chinese Linguistics with
specialisation in Chinese phonetics and phonology. Appointments: Assistant
Professor/ Associate Professor. Position offered will commensurate with
qualification and experience. Assistant Professor: must possess a doctorate
upon appointment. Associate Professor: must demonstrate clear research
ability, has a solid track record of research output as well as good
teaching standards. Commencement of appointment: August 2007. Candidates
are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses by offering
modules in Chinese and English, conduct research and supervise MA/PhD students.
