Hi everybody,

I am currently doing a PhD project on the development of narratives in a
German-English immersion grade school along the lines of cohesion/
coherence/ story grammar, i.e. a description of the development of the
story as such. Much to my astonishment, I have been able to find a lot of
material on L1 narrative development and on brain damaged subjects, but
virtually nothing on the L2. Almost everything about the L2 focuses on very
specific morphological or other questions even though telling a story was
often used in the data elicitation process. Now, can anybody help me out with

1) references to studies looking at narrative development in an L2 or even L3?

2) such studies done in an immersion setting?

I greatly appreciate any help and will be more than happy to provide a summary.
