Meeting Description:
Every year the Linguistics Department of the University of Maryland organizes a state-of-the-art linguistics workshop. This year's Mayfest is a Language Learning Fest, devoted to research on the role of input and how it is processed by children in first language acquisition. Its two principal aims are (i) to bring together language acquisition researchers representing theoretical, experimental and computational approaches, and (ii) to promote discussions and interactions among researches with different perspectives so as to further our understanding of the field.
