Meeting Description: 

A seminar presenting research based on and celebrating the newly completed Corpus of Spoken Oslo Norwegian (The NoTa-Oslo Corpus). 

This two-day seminar celebrates the completion of a Corpus of Spoken Oslo Norwegian (The NoTa-Oslo Corpus). Invited speakers from three Scandinavian countries will give talks on  the lexicon, phonology, morphology, syntax, diachronic linguistics, sociolinguistics, and computational linguistics. All the researchers have made use of the NoTa-Oslo Corpus.

The Oslomålet seminar, arranged by The Text Laboratory, ILN,UiO, takes place at the University of Oslo, Helga Engs hus, 23.-24. November 2006. See the seminar URL www.tekstlab.uio.no/oslomaalet for program and other details.
