Description:
Applications are invited for a two-year Contractually Limited Term
Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Linguistics, Department
of Humanities, University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), beginning July 1,
2007 and ending June 30, 2009. Candidates should have a PhD in linguistics
at the time of appointment, with specialization in syntax, and must be able
to teach morphology and syntax at the undergraduate level. It is desirable
that candidates be able to teach a range of courses in the undergraduate
program, including non-core courses such as sociolinguistics or
psycholinguistics. Candidates with a record of excellence in both research
and teaching will be given preference.
