Description:

The Department of Linguistics, McGill University, invites applications for
a one year position starting January 1, 2007 in Syntax, subject to
budgetary approval.  Applications for just Winter term (Jan-May) or Fall
term (Aug-Dec) will also be considered. 

Qualifications: PhD in Linguistics with teaching experience preferred.  The
candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate
levels.  Teaching load will be four or five courses.  Ability to teach an
introductory course as well as a course in morphology would be an asset.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian
citizens and permanent residents will be given priority.  McGill is
