Description:

Xtranormal, a 3D-Animation company, based in Montreal, is looking for a
Computational Linguist.

Under the supervision of the Natural Language Processing lead, the
candidate will be in charge of the development and the design of tools and
resources for French. More specifically, he will be responsible for the
development of a syntactic parser.

Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters in Computational Linguistics with a specialization in
parsing.

Skills :
-  Mastery in formal syntax and natural language parsing.
-  Fluent English and French
-  Logic programming (Prolog) and DCG
-  Knowledge in Natural Language Processing issues

Responsibilities :
-  Development of a syntactic parser for French
-  Code review of the syntactic parser for English
-  Lexicon design according to our processing needs
