Description:
The College of Humanities at Ibaraki University invites applications for the
position of language acquisition, opening April 1, 2008, at the rank of
tenured Assistant/Associate Professor. Responsibilities include teaching at
the undergraduate level (subjects include linguistic theory and English),
and possibly at the graduate level after qualification. PhD holders or
candidates are preferred. Native or near-native fluency in Japanese is
required. Ibaraki University is a national university, offering a linguistics
major through the College of Humanities.
Applicants should send CV, list of publications, copies of at least three,
preferably five major publications (each with summary of 500 characters in
Japanese), research plan and teaching plan (each 1000 characters in
Japanese). Please specify "Linguistics Position Application Inside" on the
envelope.
