ESRC FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR CHC POST-GRADUATE STUDENTS
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 16 March 2007
The Centre for Human Communication has been awarded a quota ESRC studentship for
the academic year commencing October 2007.
ESRC studentships provide up to four years full funding for post-graduate training.
The CHC will consider applicants for the quota studentship who intend to
complete the MRes in Speech, Language and Cognition course before continuing on
to PhD research within the CHC group. We will also consider applicants who have
the relevant ESRC-approved Masters-level training and who intend to undertake
PhD research with a CHC-affiliated supervisor in a related subject area
Applicants should download the ESRC 's 'Guidance Notes for Applicants'. These
notes and other information about ESRC studentships will be available to
download from February 2007.
Applicants should send a CV, a covering letter and the names and email addresses
of two referees to Richard Breheny at richardb at ling.ucl.ac.uk no later than 16
March 2007.
Note that applications are subject to nationality and residency restrictions and
applicants are asked to indicate in their submission that they meet the ESRC's
nationality and residency requirements. Please see the 'Guidance Notes'.
