Description:
The Department of Humanities at the University of Toronto Scarborough
invites applications for a full-time appointment in French at the level of
Lecturer, starting July 1, 2007 and ending June 30, 2008. The position
involves teaching undergraduate language courses at all levels and
co-ordinating language course offerings.
Requirements:
PhD in French as a Second Language, in French Studies or the equivalent
(completed as of 1 July 2007); experience in teaching French as a second
language; experience in applying new technologies in language teaching; an
excellent teaching dossier; excellent command of French and very good
knowledge of English and an aptitude for teamwork.

a writing sample and teaching materials to Professor William R. Bowen,
Chair, Department of Humanities at the address given below. Three letters
of reference should be sent directly to Professor Bowen.
