Description:
The Department of Linguistics of the University of Utah announces several
graduate research and teaching assistantships beginning Fall 2008, and invites
applications for these assistantships and to the Linguistics PhD program.
Available assistantships involve:
- Research in various areas of theoretical and applied linguistics, including
documenting and revitalizing American Indian languages, second language
acquisition, and others
- Support of Linguist List Reviews Editor
- Teaching undergraduate Linguistics courses
- Teaching English as a second language courses

All assistantships include at least the standard graduate assistantship stipends
