Description:
Mesa State College invites applications for a full-time temporary position
in English. Teaching duties include upper and lower division creative
writing as well as first year composition. The teaching load is a minimum
of four courses in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
MA/MFA/PhD (from nationally accredited institution) in creative writing and
demonstrated commitment to college level teaching required. Professional
activity desirable. The position includes opportunities for scholarship,
service, and academic advising.
Full-time temporary position, contract renewable year beginning August, 2008.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience, and includes
excellent health and retirement benefits.
