Description:

The Departments of Linguistics and Russian and Slavic Studies at New York
University seek to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position in
Russian Syntax, beginning September 1, 2009, pending administrative and
budgetary approval.  The position is 75% in Linguistics and 25% in Russian
and Slavic Studies.  Applicants should have a strong background in both
theoretical linguistics and in Slavic languages. Responsibilities include
teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. We seek candidates with
expertise in syntax and experience teaching linguistics and Russian syntax.
