Meeting Description: 

The 43rd StuTS, a linguistical conference for and by students, will take place
in the city of Amsterdam from May 7th until May 11th. 

>From May 7th until May 11th we will be organising the 43rd StuTS in the city of
Amsterdam. StuTS is a linguistic conference organised by and for students. All
students interested in linguistics are invited to visit the conference and are
offered the opportunity to lecture on any particular field of linguistic study.
 We also encourage high school students and graduates to attend the conference.
Since 1987 this biennial conference has been organised by students from
universities in the German language area, hence the original name Studentische
Tagung Sprachwissenschaft. This year, however, StuTS will be organised by Dutch
students from the University of Amsterdam and we hope that students from other
countries will also be inspired to attend.
