Meeting Description:
The 2008 conference of the American Association for Corpus Linguistics will be
held March 12-15, 2008 at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Keynote speakers are Douglas Biber (US), Laurel Brinton (Canada), Harald Baayen
(Canada), Susan Hunston (UK), and Tony McEnery (UK).
The pre-conference workshop on March 12 will deal with ''Using R for Corpus
Linguistics'' and will be led by Stefan Gries and Harald Baayen.
Presentations will be given by approximately 125 individuals from more than 25
countries.
