Computerlinguist/in

Ihre Aufgabe
Zu Ihrem Aufgabengebiet gehört der Aufbau von und die Arbeit an
mehrsprachigen Textkorpora. Sie sind für die operative Umsetzung von Single
Source Publishingprojekten zuständig. Sie arbeiten bei der Entwicklung von
computergestützten Übersetzungssystemen, automatisierten Textanalysen,
Terminologie-Datenbanken, maschinenlesbaren Wörterbüchern und Information
Retrieval-Plattformen mit. Zudem erledigen Sie periodisch kleinere
Übersetzungsaufträge. Die operativen Aufgaben (Prozessmanagement,
Übersetzungen) umfassen rund 30 - 40 %, die entwicklungsorientierten
Aufgaben (Konzeptualisierung, Programmierung, Implementierung) ca. 60 - 70
% Ihrer Tätigkeit.

Ihr Profil
Sie erwerben bis spätestens Herbst 2008 oder verfügen bereits über einen
Hochschulabschluss in Computerlinguistik/Sprachtechnologie in Verbindung
mit einer sprachwissenschaftlichen Disziplin, oder können eine
gleichwertige Ausbildung vorweisen. Sie setzen Ihre guten Deutsch- und
Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift täglich ein. Jede weitere Sprache
ist von grossem Vorteil. Wenn Sie erste Programmiererfahrungen mit z.B.
Prolog, UML/Java, X-Technologien (XML/XSL(T)/XPath etc.) sowie
Praxiserfahrung in computerlinguistischen Projekten mitbringen, sollten wir
uns kennen lernen. Ein Interesse an Themen an der Schnittstelle zwischen
Informatik, Bankfach und Sprache wird vorausgesetzt. Sie fühlen sich in der
textorientierten Computerlinguistik/Sprachtechnologie wohl, verfügen über
ausgeprägte formallinguistische Kompetenzen und sind mit den gängigen
unifikationsbasierten Grammatikformalismen bestens vertraut.
