Description:
Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum is seeking to fill a vacancy for the position of a
Lecturer (Lektor) at the Department of English (TV-L E13: approx.
22,000-24,000 per annum, after taxes, depending on the amount of teaching
experience) as of 1 October 2008. The contract will initially be for two
years. Depending on performance a tenured position is possible.
The position involves 16 hours per week of teaching - mainly English for
Specific Purposes and English as a Foreign Language at BA level. Candidates
are expected to have a proven teaching record in the field. Evidence of
research and publications as well as work experience in the area will be an
added advantage.
