Professeur en traduction 
Poste menant à la permanence

Le Département d'études langagières de l'Université du Québec en Outaouais
sollicite des candidatures en vue de pourvoir à un poste de professeur dans
le domaine de la traduction de l'anglais vers le français.

La personne recherchée est titulaire d'un doctorat en traduction, en
traductologie ou dans un domaine connexe. Les candidatures de personnes en
rédaction de thèse pourront également être considérées. La connaissance
pratique des exigences et particularités du milieu langagier professionnel
en général et de la traduction en particulier, ainsi qu'un intérêt marqué
pour l'enseignement de la traduction et les technologies langagières sont
également souhaités.

En plus de posséder une compétence démontrée dans la traduction de
l'anglais au français, la personne dont la candidature sera retenue devra
faire preuve d'un excellent potentiel en recherche et en enseignement
universitaires, posséder des aptitudes à l'encadrement d'étudiants, et être
disposée à offrir des services à la collectivité. Elle devra également
faire preuve d'une excellente connaissance de la langue française orale et
écrite, ainsi que de l'anglais. 

Si l'Université n'arrive pas à trouver un candidat qui réponde de manière
pleinement satisfaisante aux critères définis pour ce poste, celle-ci se
réserve le droit d'embaucher un professeur suppléant (contrat à durée limitée).
