Dear Linguistics Department Chairs and Program Heads,

We would be grateful if some North American departments could share with us
their promotion and tenure guidelines for linguists.

In particular, we are looking for clarification regarding the evaluation of
'conference proceedings' for tenure and promotion. Do they count? If so,
how are they ranked among other types of publications?

Thanks in advance!

Prisca
