Meeting Description:

This 1 day conference is designed to give linguistics postgraduates from all
research areas an opportunity to present and discuss their research in an
informal and intellectually stimulating setting. 

Call for Papers

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and should be submitted via e-mail as
attachments (Microsoft Word/Rich Text Format files). Abstracts should not
include the author's name or any other identifying information. 

Abstracts should be sent to laelpgabstract at lancaster.ac.uk. The deadline is 21
March 2010. No late submissions will be accepted. All submissions will be blind
peer-reviewed. 

Note that we can only accept abstracts from postgraduate students. We are unable
to consider abstracts from authors whose doctoral awards have already been made. 

Abstract should include only:
1. The title of the paper
2. A list of 3-5 key words describing the area and focus of the paper
3. The aim of the session
4. The research focus
5. The research methodology
6. A brief summary of findings (if applicable)
7. A short list of key references
Please note: 300-word limit does not include points (1), (2) and (7).

The subject line of the email should contain the words "Abstract submission"

The body of the email message should contain:
1. The title and preferred presentation type (oral or poster)
2. The name(s) of the author(s) and their affiliation(s)
3. A brief author's bio-data (up to 40 words)
4. The author's e-mail address and contact details
5. Audiovisual equipment required (if any)
6. The main and secondary area of your research, from the list below
