Abstract:

Cet ouvrage réunit des contributions portant sur les structures dites « à
détachement ». Ces constructions disloquées ou extraposées et ces
phénomènes de discontinuité syntaxique sont étudiés aussi bien dans le
discours écrit que dans l'oral conversationnel, dans une perspective
synchronique, diachronique ou contrastive.

Les contributions présentées dans ce volume portent notamment sur le
français médiéval, le français classique, le français moderne, l'allemand,
l'anglais, le basque, le finnois, l'italien, le tchèque, le russe. Elles se
penchent sur les principales problématiques liées à la typologie des faits
de détachement dans les langues, à la description et à la modélisation de
certaines de ces constructions, aux instruments (syntaxiques, pragmatiques,
énonciatifs, prosodiques, etc.) nécessaires à leur description, aux niveaux
d'analyse qu'elles impliquent, et aux opérations linguistiques dont elles
résultent.

Cet ouvrage constitue une synthèse précieuse sur l'un des problèmes de
linguistique les plus débattus à l'heure actuelle.
