Oxford University Press is announcing a new book series, "Language and the
Law," featuring scholarly monographs that relate legal issues to disciplines
such as linguistics, anthropology, sociology, and other related fields.
This series is edited by Roger W. Shuy, Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at
Georgetown University. The editorial board consists of Janet Ainsworth,
Seattle University Law School, Janet Cotterill, Cardiff University, Robert
Leonard, Hofstra University, Gregory Matoesian, University of Illinois at
Chicago, Elizabeth Mertz, University of Wisconsin Law School, and Teresa
Turrell, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
