Greetings Linguists!
I'm pleased to announce that the satirical linguistics anthology,
Collateral Descendant of Lingua Pranca, originally published in October of
2009, is now available online. It's like a super-oversized issue of
SpecGram, but with more historical antecedents and allusions.

The editors of Speculative Grammarian are very excited to announce that,
after a three-decade hiatus and two years of effort and planning, we have
put together a third satirical linguistic anthology, Collateral Descendant
of Lingua Pranca - second cousin once removed to the original. Along with a
number of new contributors, we welcome back several veterans from Lingua
Pranca and Son and thank them for once again risking their reputations, and
sticking out their academic necks.
Next time (November 2009), we will have another all-new issue of
Speculative Grammarian.
Enjoy!
