Meeting Description:
The FedERG research group of the Fédération Typologie et Universaux
Linguistiques organizes a workshop on ergative markers to be held in Paris, the
9th of November 2009.
Call for Papers:
Papers dealing with the diachronic development of these markers and synchronic
syncretisms of ergative with other oblique functions are especially welcome.
Abstracts should be in English, anonymous, not exceeding two pages (including
references), and sent in PDF format to the following address:
rgyalrongskad at gmail.com before 20th of September
Include these things in the body of the email only: Author's name(s); Abstract
title; Contact information: email, phone, fax
Notification of acceptance by the 30th of September.
Details of the workshop venue will be announced later.
