OCP-7 (Old World Conference in Phonology 7, http://www.unice.fr/dsl/ocp7/),
which was held in Nice from 28-30 January 2010, was entirely filmed (well,
only 28th and 29th...), and the videos are now available as podcasts. There
are two ways to access them:
1. With iTunes (which you need to have installed on your machine, available at:
http://www.apple.com/fr/itunes/download/)
http://deimos3.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Browse/unice.fr.3488224926.03488224928
Right above the list of videos, you will see two tabs, one ''conférences''
which contains 20 talks, the other ''interviews'', which contains 5
interviews that were realized with people that look at OCP from various
perspectives: Marc van Oostendorp, Patrick Honeybone, Marily Vihman,
Eugeniusz Cyran and Bronwyn Bjorkman.
2. Without iTunes (on the local UNice ''kiosque'') the 20 talks:
http://podcast.unice.fr/?categorie=conferences&media=http://podcast.unice.fr/Podcasts/2010-
02-17/
then choose the individual talks in the pull-down menu ''Médias'' (there
are a number of items unrelated to OCP, the OCP-talks have an ''OCP7'' suffix)
the 5 interviews (Cyran, Oostendorp, Honeybone, Vihman, Bjorkman):
http://podcast.unice.fr/?
categorie=sciences_humaines&media=http://podcast.unice.fr/Podcasts/2010-04-06/z
then choose the individual interview in the pull-down menu ''Médias''
The videos were realized by the SCSI-TICE (Estelle Coll, David Fernandez)
of Nice University with the generous financial support of the Université de
Nice - Sophia Antipolis and the CNRS (Délégation Côte d'Azur).
Enjoy :-)
Best wishes,
Emilie Caratini
