As part of the Scientific Software Innovation Institutes (S2I2) activity at
the National Science Foundation, a call has gone out for exploratory
workshops. The 'Dear Colleague Letter' outlining the opportunities is

This may be an excellent opportunity for some of our sub-disciplines.
