Description:

Visiting Lecturer Position at GSU

Georgia State University's Department of Applied Linguistics & ESL is
accepting applications for a half-time Visiting Lecturer position for the
2010/2011 academic year. This is a non-tenure track position to teach
undergraduate and graduate courses in general linguistics, teaching
methodology, and/or intercultural communication (two courses per semester).
The position comes with a complete benefits package. A Ph.D. in Applied
Linguistics or a closely related field is required by August 2010.
Preference will be given to applicants with relevant teaching experience.
Send application letter, C.V., graduate transcripts, three letters of
recommendation, and evidence of teaching effectiveness to Dr. John Murphy,
V.L. Search Committee Chair at the address below. Review of applications
will begin on June 1, 2010, and will continue until the position is filled.
