Meeting Description:
The Department of Linguistics at the University of Southern California
(USC), Los Angeles, is pleased to announce the Seventh Workshop on
Altaic Formal Linguistics (WAFL7), to be held on 29-31 October, 2010.
Abstracts are invited for 20 minute talks (plus 10 minute discussion) on
topics dealing with formal aspects of any area of theoretical Altaic
linguistics, including syntax, phonology, morphology, and semantics. The
term 'Altaic' is understood to include Turkic, Mongolic and Tungusic
languages, as well as Korean and Japanese. Abstract on the formal
linguistics of any members of this group are welcome.

Call Deadline: 15-May-2010
Abstract submission deadline: May 15th 2010
Abstract submission guidelines:
Abstracts should be no more than two pages, single-spaced, 12-font, 1-inch
margins; examples should be part of the text. Please do not include your
name or affiliation on the abstract. The number of abstracts per author is
limited to one singly-authored and one co-authored abstract per author. All
abstracts should be submitted to:

submitting your abstract:

Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously. Notification of acceptance will be
