We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.
To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at
http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.cfm.

I am looking for people who are willing to participate in an online
grammaticality judgment task. The task consists of judging English
sentences on their grammaticality by giving them a rating from 1-10. It
takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. The results will not be linked to
your name in any way, and all personal details are kept strictly
confidential
I need people that meet the following requirements:
Language: native speaker of American or Canadian English (meaning
you are not bilingual, or have grown up in a bilingual environment.
Some knowledge of a foreign language is not problematic). No
advanced knowledge of syntax.
If you are willing to participate, then go to
http://www.lscp.free.fr/Judgments/Experience/Split-Ank.php to do the
experiment and read detailed instructions. Or, if you know of others
that fit the above requirements, please feel free to forward it on to
them.
If you have any questions regarding this experiment, or encounter any
problems while doing the experiment, please e-mail me at:
a.schippers at rug.nl
Your help will be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Ankelien Schippers
