Meeting Description:
This conference is the annual meeting of the Celtic Studies Association of North
America (CSANA), an organization devoted to the study of all aspects of the
life, language, history, folklore, literature, and culture of the various Celtic
peoples.
Plenary speakers for this year's conference include Michelle Brown (University
of London), Peredur Lynch (University of Bangor), and Gearóid Ó Crualaoich
(University College, Cork).
Call for Papers:
Papers from all areas within Linguistics are welcome, with the only requirement
being that they must deal in some way with data from one or more of the Celtic
languages, ancient or modern, either on their own or in conjunction with other
typologically, genealogically, or geographically related languages. Approaches to
Celtic data of a sociolinguistic, historical, theoretical, descriptive, or
psycholinguistic nature, to name just a few, are encouraged.
Please send or email abstracts for 20-minute papers on any aspect of Celtic
Studies, to: Dr. Michael Meckler, Center for Epigraphical and Palaeographical
Studies, The Ohio State University, 190 Pressey Hallm Columbus, Ohio 43210-
