2nd International Conference on Grammar and Text
Short Title: GRATO 2011
Date: 09-Sep-2011 - 10-Sep-2011
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Contact: Teresa Brocardo
Contact Email: grato at fcsh.unl.pt
Meeting URL: http://www.clunl.edu.pt/PT/?id=1614&mid=50
Linguistic Field(s): Discourse Analysis; General Linguistics
Meeting Description:
Pursuing the objectives of GRATO 2009, GRATO 2011 aims at contributing
to a broad and coherent approach of grammatical phenomena and their
functioning in texts and discourses.
The 'Grammar and Text' group of CLUNL develops a linguistic research that
relates different perspectives and theoretical frameworks - synchronic and
diachronic, on morphology, semantics, text theory - and the Conference will
hopefully provide the discussion of new and enlightening proposals. The
interaction of grammatical, textual and discursive phenomena will be given
priority as well as the complementation of different theoretical approaches
and methodologies, aiming at the construction of accurate descriptions and
adequate explanatory hypotheses.
Invited Speakers
Jean-Paul Bronckart (Université de Genève)
Tania Kuteva (Universität Düsseldorf)
