AHRC DOCTORAL STUDENTSHIP IN GERMANIC STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS (UNITED
KINGDOM)
 
Ranked joint second in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) with 
one of the highest proportions of 'world-leading' research, Leeds German 
welcomes applications for postgraduate study in the areas of sociolinguistics, 
language and identity, language policy, language and migration, and more.

For 2010 entry, Leeds German is offering a Doctoral (PhD) Award, normally 
for up to three years of full-time study or up to five years of part-time study, 
funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council's Block Grant 
Partnership (BGP). The studentships cover tuition fees (standard UK/EU rate)
