Meeting Description:

For its annual symposium, the Forum for Research on the Languages of Scotland
and Ulster wishes to turn to the topic of 'Language Attrition; Dialect
Attrition'. Although the primary focus will be on the languages -- past and
present -- of Scotland and Ireland, we welcome and encourage the presentation of
findings in analogous areas. 

Call for Papers

The FRLSU symposia encourage greater engagement and commitment than is the case
with many other conferences; papers generally last 45 minutes. Selected papers
will be published in the Forum's peer-reviewed on-line series.

300-500 word proposals for papers should reach Robert McColl Millar 
(r.millar at abdn.ac.uk) by 31 May 2010.
