BCALS is proud to host the 3rd Bloomsbury Student Conference in Applied
Linguistics.
Abstracts from the following fields will be considered: Pragmatics,
Intercultural Communication, Sociolinguistics, Second Language Acquisition,
Discourse Analysis, Bilingualism/Multilingualism, Corpus Linguistics,
Neurolinguistics/Psycholinguistics, Language Education, other related areas
This conference is designed for students from all levels of study who wish to
share their work and gain conference presenting experience. Students may submit
abstracts from working papers. There is an option for giving a paper or poster
presentation.
Call for Papers
Abstract instructions:
Please send an electronic copy of your abstract to bcalsconference at gmail.com
with the file name "BCALS10_oneinitialsurname" (e.g., "BCALS10_fbrown"),
including:
- Title
- Name, affiliation and contact information (including address, telephone, email)
- 300 words maximum
- Include references, if any
- Specify paper or poster presentation
Presentation guidelines:
- Individual presentations will be 30 minutes (including 10 minutes for questions)
- Poster presentations will be available during a specified time slot for discussion
Submission deadline: 1st March 2010
Notification date: 15th April 2010
