Meeting Description:

DiGS (Diachronic Generative Syntax) is an established international conference
which brings together researchers working on syntactic change within a
generative framework. This year, 20 years since the first conference in the
series, DiGS returns to its first host-country.

DiGS XII will be held at Queens' College in Cambridge, England, from 14 to 16
July 2010.

Call for Papers

We hereby invite abstracts for 30-minute oral presentations, which will be
followed by 10 minutes of discussion. We also invite abstracts for poster
presentations at a poster session during the conference. 
 
Abstracts should be anonymous and no longer than two pages, including references
and examples, with margins of at least 1 inch, in 12-point Times New Roman,
single-spaced. Submissions are limited to a maximum of one individual and one
joint abstract per author. Please indicate clearly whether your abstract is to
be considered for presentation as a talk or as a poster. 
 
Anonymous abstracts are to be submitted via the Linguist List's Easy Abs
submission system at http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/DiGS2010.
 
The deadline for submission of abstracts is Monday 8 March 2010. Notification of
acceptance will be by Thursday 8 April 2010.
