Description:
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology, University of Toronto, invites
applications for a tenure-stream appointment in the field of
Speech-Language Pathology. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant
Professor and will begin on July 1, 2010.
An exceptional career opportunity exists for a person holding a Ph.D. to
join the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of
Toronto, one of the outstanding research universities in North America. The
department is housed in the Rehabilitation Sciences Building, which offers
excellent teaching and research facilities. The University of Toronto
offers unique opportunities for collaborative and interdisciplinary
research, encourages innovative scholarship, and provides the excitement of
teaching a diverse student population.
We are interested in candidates with a clear research vision, demonstrated
research potential and proven teaching ability. Preference will be given to
candidates with a background in child language or acquired language
disorders. Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship is an asset. Salary is
highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

search will continue until the position is filled (start date July 1,
