Meeting Description:

The University of Utah Student Conference in Linguistics is organized by the
Graduate Student Advisory Council and the Undergraduate Student Advisory Council
in the Dept. of Linguistics at the University of Utah to give students at the
University of Utah a chance to share their research and gain experience
presenting at a conference.

We are pleased to announce that the invited presentations this year will be
presented by David Iannucci and Mauricio Mixco.

Abstracts are accepted from current students at the University of Utah, and must
conform to the requirements specified in the call for papers.

Presentations and posters on any linguistics topic are welcome.

Presentations and posters on any linguistics topic are welcome.
Abstracts are accepted only from current students at the University of Utah.

Author names must not appear on abstracts. Abstracts must be no more than one
page (8.5" x 11"), using any standard 12 pt font and having margins not less
than 1" on any side, the top, or the bottom.  References and data, if necessary,
may appear on a second page. All abstracts must be submitted in PDF format.

After uploading your abstract, send an email to the conference email address
(uuscil2010 at gmail.com) including the following information:
1. Title of abstract uploaded
2. Name(s) of author(s)
3. State your preference to give a presentation or present a poster
4. Give up to three linguistic subfields that characterize your research (e.g.,
L2 acquisition, sociophonetics, syntax)

Decisions will be announced by March 12, 2010.
