Meeting Description:
This workshop, part of ISDA'10, is devoted to discussion of current
researches on natural language understanding and their applications taking
into consideration the properties of the form and interpretation of natural
languages. The topics of interest to the workshop include, but are not
limited to, the following:
Natural Language parsing, Natural Language generation, Multilingual text
processing, Knowledge discovery, Discourse anaphora resolution,
Discourse analysis, Dialog systems, Question answering, Information
retrieval, Information extraction, Summarisation, Translation, Learning,
Reasoning.
The workshop is open to theoretical approaches to natural language
understanding, including syntax and semantics, models of grammar,
relations between linguistic representations and interpretations, the
properties of the interfaces between the grammar and the external systems.

Papers must correspond to the requirements detailed in the (Paper

Registration Fees:
All papers must be presented by one of the authors, who must pay the
registration fees.http://cig.iet.unipi.it/isda2010/
Paper Reviewing and Publication:
Submitted papers will be reviewed. Accepted papers, which should not
exceed 6 pages (PDF)following the double column IEEE format. All
accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the ISDA'10.
Selected papers will be published in special issues of a selection of
International Journals (to be announced).
Dates of Submission and Acceptance:
- Deadline for paper submission June 26, 2010
- Notification of acceptance August 14, 2010
- Camera-ready manuscript submission September 15, 2010
