The conference is organized under the auspices of the Nordic Association of
Linguists (NAL) by the Language Departments of the University of Eastern Finland
(Joensuu).

Second Call for Papers
(with extended abstract submission deadline)
The conference is organized under the auspices of the Nordic Association of
Linguists (NAL) by the Language Departments of the University of Eastern Finland
(Joensuu).
Papers are invited in any area of language research.
The conference language will be English, and the peer-reviewed proceedings will
be published in 2011.
One-page abstracts of maximally 500 words should be submitted electronically
through EasyAbs at http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/24SCL by
March 19, 2010 (extended deadline).
Please also express your preference for the presentation mode: paper (20 min. +
10 min. for discussion), or poster.
Those wishing to organize a workshop at the meeting should submit a one-page
description of their workshop theme as well as all the individual abstracts of
the presentations to the conference organizers at 24SCL at joensuu.fi by the same
deadline.
Notification of acceptance as well as the program, information on accommodation,
travel and conference fee payment procedures will be sent out by April 1, 2010.
