Dear LINGUIST List Subscribers,

During this fund-drive you have been reading about many of our 
great features that LINGUIST List is responsible for developing 
and maintaining. We are pleased to be able to write to you about 
another, the Wiley-Blackwell Language & Linguistics Compass 
Discussion Forum. 

In 2008, LINGUIST developed the Wiley-Blackwell Language & 
Linguistics Compass Discussion Forum - a special area of our 
site that provides free, full-text access to selected Language 
and Linguistics Compass articles - as well as a comment board 
to discuss the articles with your peers. This forum features 
5-7 articles in each issue, with 3-4 issues per year. 

In the Discussion Forum, users can post comments and/or questions 
about the contents of each article. In some cases the article 
authors have even posted their own thoughts and guiding questions.  
This has been a very successful project with a large viewer base, 
and one that we hope to continue for many years.

Our most recent issue of the Wiley-Blackwell Language & Linguistics 
Compass Discussion Forum was released in February 2010. We 
encourage you to visit the Forum and read these exciting articles

In 2009 we developed an international panel comprised of linguists 
who specialize in a wide range of linguistic subfields. These 
panelists select the articles that we feature on the forum, provide 
guidance for the site development and encourage discussion of each 
article. The members of this panel gain experience "reviewing" 
articles and establish a connection with a major linguistics 
publisher, while engaging in academic discussion of recent 
linguistics articles. To inquire about participating in this panel
