Meeting Description: 

Research in normal and pathological speech-language processing shows tremendous
progress and is a rapidly growing multidisciplinary field. Participating
disciplines are (neuro)linguistics and -phonetics, (neuro)psychology, neurology,
other branches of neuroscience, educational psychology, and speech-language
pathology. This symposium is organized to highlight and bring to the attention
of a broad audience of students, researchers and professionals clinical
implications of speech-language research, as applied to speech and language
processing, including dyslexia. To accentuate the role of linguistics as a
common denominator in this branch of neuroscience, the symposium is organized as
a satellite to the 31st TABU-dag (3-4 June), the annual international
linguistics conference at the University of Groningen.
