Meeting Description:

You are cordially invited to the 9th Medieval English Studies Symposium, 
organised by the School of English, Adam Mickiewicz University, which will be 
held in Poznan from 20 to 21 November, 2010. MESS9 will have as its aim 
bringing together specialists in the areas of medieval English linguistics. One 
plenary lecture and over ten section meetings are planned. 

Call For Papers

We will welcome section papers in all areas of research connected with 
medieval English language. 500-word abstracts should be submitted by the 
end of June 2010, preferably by e-mail (mess at ifa.amu.edu.pl), in the .rtf or 
.doc (Word for Windows) format. As the number of paper slots is limited, all 
proposals will be reviewed by the organising committee and the authors will be 
notified about acceptance by the end of July 2010. Participants without papers 
are also welcome.
