We are pleased to invite you to WCCFL 29 at the University of Arizona in
Tucson, Arizona on April 22-24, 2011. The organizing committee solicits
abstracts from all areas of formal linguistics as well as papers oriented
towards one of the conference's two major themes.
Endangered Languages: work (from any theoretical perspective) based on the
documentation and analysis of any endangered language or language group,
including American Indian languages.
Methodology and Modeling: theoretical approaches to modeling grammar using
various methodologies, especially experimental, computational and those
inspired by consideration of the biological foundations of language.
Call For Papers
Instructions for Abstract Submission
Abstracts for 20 minute talks as well as posters must contain at most 750
words, including examples but not references, on up to two letter-sized
sheets (8 1/2 by 11 in) with one-inch margins and in a font no smaller than
11 point. At the top of the abstract, please include (1) the abstract
title and (2) three or four keywords describing the topics of the paper.
Please include word count at the bottom of the abstract text. Abstracts are
anonymous, so all authors' names must be absent from the abstract.
Submissions are limited to 1 individual and 1 joint abstract per author, or
2 joint abstracts per author.
