We are pleased to announce the Sixth Cambridge Postgraduate

CamLing brings together postgraduate students working in a wide range of
areas of language research and provides a forum for interdisciplinary
discussion where students can present and discuss their work with other
people from both theoretical and applied backgrounds. Continuing an
established tradition, this year's conference has attracted the submission of
a number of outstanding papers from leading universities in the UK and
abroad. Please, visit http://www.srcf.ucam.org/camling/programme.html for
details on the conference programme.
We are particularly delighted to welcome Dr Philip Durkin of the Oxford

English and Applied Linguistics of the University of Cambridge as this year's
plenary speakers. For more information on their plenary talks, please see

For the first time in the history of the conference, CamLing2010 will feature
a workshop themed 'Linguistics Matters!'. The workshop will include two
