Linguistic Field(s): Language Documentation
Meeting Description:
The central goal of this workshop is to bring together experts working on
language documentation to debate whether language endangerment in Africa
differs from that in other parts of the world, and whether such differences merit
an Africa-specific approach to documentation.
Apart from the excellent papers that will be presented at the workshop, the
panel discussions and students' sessions, the organizing committee and the
Center for African Studies at the University of Florida have also arranged other
exciting events to make your stay in the 'Gator Country' memorable and truly
rewarding.
